The NYPD is asking the public to assist them in finding the two suspects who took an unoccupied subway car on a joyride last week. The pair fled the scene after the train crashed.

Police said the suspects accessed an unoccupied train sitting in the station "and operated it, causing a collision and damage to the train."

The NYPD is searching for a man suspected of hijacking and derailing a subway train in the Briarwood section of Queens.

One suspect was last seen wearing a pink shower cap, pink sleeveless shirt and pink shorts and carrying a pink handbag.
