KÄ«lauea eruption continues in remote area of Hawaiāi Volcanoes National Park
Current eruptive activity began with a small eruption that occurred on Sunday night and paused after an hour, according to Hawaiian Volcano Observatory. Located on a remote section of the middle East Rift Zone in HawaiŹ»i Volcanoes National Park, just west of NÄpau Crater, the eruption restarted at 6 p.m. on Monday.
